Simon Watson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Simon began their career as a Systems Analyst at Vickers Shipbuilding and Engineering, Ltd (VSEL), where they worked from 1989 to 1991. Simon then moved on to UFB Humberclyde, where they served as a Project Lead from 1991 to 1993. Simon then joined Claremont Technology Group (later acquired by CBSI/Covansys) as a Director, focusing on Project Management and Business Development in the Utilities sector, from 1993 to 1999. In 1999, Simon became the Vice President of Windsor Solutions, Inc., responsible for all aspects of business development for the environmental information management systems organization. From 2011 to 2018, they served as the President of Foothills Soccer Club.
Simon Watson has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Management from Lancaster University. Additionally, they attended Anglia Ruskin University and Malton School, North Yorkshire, but their degree and field of study from those institutions are unknown.
