Steve Guy has extensive experience in the wine industry, currently serving as General Manager of Regulatory Services at Wine Australia since September 2000. Prior to this role, Steve was involved with Mildara Blass and its successors from August 1986 to September 2000, where positions included Chemist, Quality Manager, and Regional Winemaker. Steve holds a Diploma in Wine Law from the University of Champagne-Ardennes (2012), an MBA from La Trobe University (2006), a Bachelor of Applied Science in Oenology from Roseworthy Agricultural College (1984), a Diploma of Education from the University of Adelaide (1978), and a Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences from the University of Adelaide (1975).

Wine Australia is an Australian Commonwealth Government statutory authority, established under the Wine Australia Act 2013, and funded by grape growers and winemakers through levies and user-pays charges and the Australian Government, which provides matching funding for RDA investments.
