David Braman

David Braman lives in San Francisco, where he is a retired founding Senior Partner at Pantheon Ventures Inc., a well-known global investment management firm that specializes in private equity fund investment. He joined the firm in 1987 and was a member of the team that purchased the business from GT Management in 1988. Braman was responsible for the firm’s overall investment strategy in private equity in North America, including asset allocation, ensuring best practice, and investment processes in both primary and secondary investments. Before joining Pantheon, he was a manager at U.S. West Inc., where he developed and managed its private equity investment program. Braman is a Chartered Financial Analyst and received a B.A. in biology from Grinnell College and an M.B.A. from the University of Denver.
