Shavar de Vries Halberstadt is an experienced equity research analyst with a strong background in finance and economics. Currently employed at Winterflood Securities since July 2020, Shavar has previously held positions as an equity research analyst at New Street Research from September 2018 to July 2020, focusing on European telecoms. Prior to these roles, Shavar served as an assistant manager in the Risk Advisory division at Deloitte from September 2014 to September 2018. Early career experience includes internships at AXA Investment Managers in economic research and ING, where responsibilities involved anti-money laundering and data protection. Shavar holds an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification from ICAEW, as well as a Master of Science in Economics from Università Bocconi and a Master of Science in Social Sciences from University College Roosevelt.
