Edward J. Wehmer

Ed Wehmer is the executive chairman of the board and founder of Wintrust, and an ex officio director of each Wintrust Community Bank. Offering a unique perspective, he’s a board member who is also a leader of the Company, providing valuable insight into management and operations, as well as historic context. Passionate about this area, Ed sits on the board of the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Archdiocese of Chicago, among other leadership roles, and is an avid fan of their hometown teams.
