Bob Shanahan has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Bob started their career at American National Bank of Chicago in 1990, where they served as First Vice President until 2002. In 2002, they joined Chase Business Credit as the Director of Originations. In 2005, they moved to Wintrust Financial Corporation and Palatine Bank and Trust, a Wintrust Bank, where they held the position of President in both companies.
Bob Shanahan earned their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a major in Accounting from Drake University, where they studied from 1980 to 1984. Bob then pursued further education at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained their Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on EMP 55.
