Kristin Taphorn

Kristin Taphorn, MSC, PHR, SHRM-CP, currently serves as the Talent Acquisition Program Manager at Wintrust Financial Corporation, a position held since July 2022. Prior experience includes roles at Wartburg College, where Kristin advanced from Regional Assistant Director to Regional Associate Director of Admissions, focusing on innovative recruiting and marketing strategies while managing substantial budgets. Additionally, Kristin contributed to community engagement as Communications Director for Butler Elementary School PTO, enhancing school outreach and branding through website development. Earlier career experience includes significant roles at Target, where Kristin led training initiatives and managed high-performing teams to drive exceptional customer experiences and sales performance. Kristin holds a Master of Science in Communication from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and Public Relations from Wartburg College.
