Vineet Agrawal began their work experience in 1999 as the Chief Executive of Wipro Peripherals. Vineet then moved on to Wipro Ltd. in 2000, where they served as the Executive Vice President, responsible for innovation, brand, quality, and public relations. During their time at Wipro Ltd., Agrawal initiated the CSR program "Wipro Applying Thought in Schools" and led the repositioning of Wipro's identity. In 2002, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting.
Vineet Agrawal earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, from 1978 to 1983. Vineet then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) from 1983 to 1985.
