Darren Woolf is an accomplished professional in the field of building physics, currently serving as the Head of Building Physics at Wirth Research since November 2020, and as the Director of Woolf Building Physics Ltd since March 2020. Darren holds the position of Visiting Professor in Building Engineering Physics at Loughborough University, contributing to teaching, research, and course development within the esteemed Building Energy Research Group. Previous roles include Technical Director and Head of Building Physics at Hoare Lea from July 2013 to October 2019, and Associate Director at Arup from October 1995 to December 2010, where responsibilities encompassed leading global building physics initiatives. Darren's educational background includes a degree from the University of Leeds, and experience as a MEng student at Penn State University, along with foundational education at Sir William Borlase School in Marlow.
