David Esse

David Esse is an experienced professional with a strong background in workforce innovation, marketing, and engineering. Currently serving as the Director of the DTSD Office of Workforce Innovation and Budget at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, David also holds the position of IT Strategy, Innovation and Planning Officer, focusing on identifying and implementing valuable innovations within the organization. Previous roles include Marketing Manager at Madison Classics, Ltd., where David managed large automotive events, and Business Unit Leader/Sled Test Engineer at MGA Research Corporation, providing engineering services across multiple industries. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
