Dr. Chandni Bhan

Dr. Chandni Bhan currently serves as the Global Head of Risk and Chief Risk Officer at Wise since June 2023. Previously, Dr. Bhan held several roles at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, including Global Head of Quant Research and Model Risk from March 2021 to May 2023, and Head of Risk for the UK from June 2018 to May 2023. Prior experience includes roles at Morgan Stanley focusing on EMEA stress testing and portfolio analysis, as well as serving as a Quantitative Credit AVP at Barclays Capital. Academic credentials include a PhD in Statistics and Probability with a focus on Mathematical Finance from Michigan State University, alongside an MSc in Statistics and Actuarial Science and a BSc in Statistics from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University. Dr. Bhan has also contributed to the field as a research collaborator at the University of Lausanne and as a statistical consultant at CSTAT USA.
