Xiang Song

Xiang (Shawn) Song is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in technology and software development. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Maven Clinic, Xiang oversees the creation of core services that support multiple product teams and manage provider-facing applications. Prior roles include Director of Engineering and Head of Seattle at Wish, where Xiang led platform service teams, and Engineering Manager II at Uber, responsible for building a real-time event-driven workflow engine. Earlier experiences include positions at Google, Microsoft, Samsung Electronics, and Hewlett-Packard, where Xiang contributed to significant projects in API services, cloud computing, and virtualization technology. Xiang holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Computer Science from Peking University.
