Chris Piekarski, P.E., Ph.D., currently serves as a Staff Power Electronics Engineer at Wisk, having previously held the position of Senior Power Electronics Engineer. With extensive experience in electrical engineering, Chris has contributed significantly to the development of wireless charging technologies for electric vehicles and has researched regenerative braking systems for eVTOL aircraft during a tenure as a Graduate Research Assistant at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. Previous roles include internships at Lucid Motors and Wisk, focusing on power electronics and EMC performance, as well as positions at WB Engineers+Consultants and Robert Derector Associates, where Chris designed electrical infrastructure for a variety of projects. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at NYU Tandon, Chris also holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field.
