Khai Tran

Khai Tran is a Senior Staff System Test and Integration Engineer at Wisk, serving as the Iron Bird Technical Lead since May 2024. Previously, Khai held the position of Flight Controls and Autonomy Engineer at Sikorsky Aircraft - Lockheed Martin from October 2018 to May 2024, where responsibilities included implementing model-based design improvements for flight control software and participating in pilot-in-the-loop testing. Prior to that, from March 2016 to October 2018, Khai worked as a Control Systems Engineer at United Technologies Aerospace Systems, focusing on integration test script development and requirement traceability for systems like the Boeing 777x Cabin Air Conditioning. Earlier experience includes a role as a System Test Engineer at Parker Aerospace, where Khai designed system-level integration test procedures and managed test conditions using LabVIEW. Khai holds a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan - Rackham Graduate School and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from UCLA.
