Emil Vasilev

Emil Vasilev currently serves as the VP of Finance at Cherry, a B2B2C healthcare-focused fintech company, since February 2023. Previously, Vasilev held the position of VP of Finance at Hero, a B2C digital medication management and remote monitoring firm, from December 2021 to February 2023, and at Total Brain, a B2B SaaS digital mental health company acquired by SonderMind, from 2017 to 2021. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Finance & Operations at Ride.com during 2016-2017 and working in private equity and growth investing at Corsair from 2013 to 2016, where Vasilev participated in significant deals including a $4 billion LBO of First Eagle with Blackstone and led a $50 million Series D investment in Personal Capital. Vasilev began a career in investment banking with Barclays Capital, focusing on Financial Institutions M&A from 2011 to 2013. Educational credentials include a BA in Economics from Amherst College and an MBA from The Wharton School.
