Mariel Reed's work experience begins in 2010 as a Teaching Fellow with Princeton in Asia. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Project Coordinator with China Medical Board. In 2013, Mariel joined Coursera as a Regional Manager, where they helped bring Coursera to the Chinese and Indian markets until 2016. Mariel then worked in the Mayor's Office of Innovation & Strategy at the City and County of San Francisco from 2016 to 2017. Since 2019, Mariel has been the Co-Founder and CEO of Pavilion, a company focused on empowering public servants to make better buying decisions.
