Mo El Mahallawy started their career at Tilt.com in 2014 as a Software Engineer. Mo then worked as a Software Engineer at Peek.com from 2015 to 2016. In 2017, they joined Airbnb as a Senior Software Engineer and worked there until 2021. Currently, they are the Co-Founder and CTO of Shepherd (YC W21).
Mo El Mahallawy attended McMaster University from 2009 to 2014. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor's degree and successfully completed a double major in Research Psychology, Neuroscience and Behavior (PNB), and Economics.
