Tom Nicklin began their work experience in 2016 as a Placement Student at UK Home Office, where they worked as a researcher on new digital forensic techniques. Tom enjoyed being part of the team and gained work satisfaction from the research. In 2018, they joined Design One as a Software Developer and worked until 2019. Following that, they worked at Jaama Ltd as a Software Developer for a few months before joining Boomin in 2019 as a Full Stack Engineer. Tom worked at Boomin until 2022. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at Wise starting from 2022.
Tom Nicklin attended Stourbridge College from 2012 to 2014, where they pursued a BTEC degree in IT and Games Development. After completing their studies at Stourbridge College, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Birmingham. Tom studied at the University of Birmingham from 2014 to 2018.
