Shay Kovach

Shay Kovach is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in software development and team leadership. Currently serving as an Engineering Team Lead at Wix.com since August 2019, Shay manages the billing and payments team that oversees over 200 million users and millions of active subscriptions. Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and deploying new features while collaborating with product teams and stakeholders. Prior roles include Software Engineering Team Lead (CTO) at BOOM25 and Co-Founder & VP of R&D at AskToPay, along with multiple software engineering positions at companies like SafeCharge and technical support roles at the Israel Airport Authority. Shay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo.
