Paolo Vacala began their work experience in 2019 as a Marketing Graphic Designer at Americaneagle.com, where they organized company drives, designed project slides, created motion graphics and promotional videos, and worked on email marketing and social media designs. In 2021, they freelanced as a Graphic Designer for Veolia North America, designing posters for their diversity, equity, and inclusion initiative. They also worked as a Display Designer & Fabricator for The Avenue MKE, conceptualizing, designing, and building rooms for the Photoverse Selfie Museum. In 2022, they worked as a Residential Assistant at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, assisting with move-ins, conducting roommate agreement meetings, and scheduling events. Their most recent role was as a Graphic Design Intern at Wizards of the Coast, where they developed the D&D internal visual identity, created designs for the franchise team, and contributed to an upcoming book chapter. They also received valuable advice on pitching concepts.

Paolo Vacala studied at Maine South High School from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a High School Diploma. Following this, they enrolled at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design in 2020, pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design. Paolo is expected to complete their degree in 2024.
