Rogue Kessler has a diverse range of work experience in the gaming industry. They started their career as an Art Manager at Shattered Enigma, where they managed artists and worked on an online magazine. They then attended Full Sail University as a Masters Student before joining Digital Domain Media Group as a Systems Technician. At Magic Deck Vortex and Eye of the Vortex, Rogue worked as a Writer and Contest Judge, focusing on Magic: The Gathering news and gaming discussions. In 2009, they became a Game Designer for Age of Primes, leading the design of a tabletop card game. From 2011 to 2012, they worked in IT support at Digital Domain Media Group. Rogue then joined Star Wars CCG as a Lead Proofer, reviewing graphics and card text for virtual cards and collaborating with the Design Team. At Dire Wolf Digital, they worked as a Senior Tester, providing QA support for online collectible card games in development. Currently, Rogue is employed at Wizards of the Coast as a Technical Designer and Digital Product Manager.

Rogue Kessler completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing from Florida State University from 2005 to 2008. Later, from 2009 to 2010, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Game Design from Full Sail University.
