Ed Drantch is an experienced broadcast journalist currently serving as the Morning Anchor for WKBW-TV since October 2014, where Ed leads an Emmy award-winning morning show focused on community engagement and positive storytelling. In addition to their anchoring role, Ed founded Reel Talent in December 2021, a consulting service that supports TV news professionals in enhancing their skills and creating effective resume tapes. Previously, Ed worked as a General Assignment Reporter for WIVB/WNLO-TV from 2011 to 2014 and held various roles at WHSV-TV from 2009 to 2011, including Morning News Anchor and Producer. Ed began the broadcasting career as a Web Producer/Reporter for Fox Television in 2008 and completed an internship at WABC-TV in 2007. Ed holds a BS in Mass Communication from SUNY Oneonta, earned in 2008.
