Jelena Kostov began their work experience in 2012 as an EIT (Engineer-in-Training) at Enbridge Pipelines, where they served as a Field Engineer from May 2012 to December 2013 and subsequently as a Project Engineer from January 2014 to October 2016. In 2017, they joined Wolf Midstream as a Field Operations Engineer and holds a P.Eng certification.
