Suba Thomas is an experienced Control Systems Developer at Wolfram Research since 2008, focusing on Mathematica Algorithm R&D and notably serving as the primary developer of the Wolfram Microcontroller Kit, which enables code generation, compilation, and deployment to various microcontrollers from the Wolfram Language. Prior to this, Suba worked as a Research Engineer at Techno-Sciences, Inc. from 2005 to 2007, where responsibilities included developing an Eclipse plug-in based GUI for creating nonlinear six degree of freedom models for fixed wing aircraft, integrating features such as data management and dynamic simulation. Suba holds an MS and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University and a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. Education was completed at St. Joseph's Boys School, Coonoor, India.
