Lauri Karolainen

Lauri Karolainen is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications, content management, and thought leadership. Currently serving as the Global Head of Partner Communications at Wolt since July 2023, Lauri previously held significant roles at dentsu international, including Head of Strategic Communications and Content, where a 74% growth in content marketing was achieved. Lauri's earlier positions include Communications Director and Global Senior Communications Manager at dentsu, as well as Content and Communication Manager at Allianz. Lauri's foundations in journalism were established through various roles at prominent media outlets, including Yle and Helsingin Sanomat. Educational credentials include a Master of Social Sciences in Communication from the University of Helsinki and an Erasmus Exchange Program in Screenwriting at the University of Basel.
