Reed Wilmot has accumulated diverse experience in the utility and telecommunications sectors, currently serving as an apprentice lineman at Wolverine Power Cooperative since September 2021. Previously, Reed worked as a joint use lineman with Lecom Utility Contractors and an aerial lineman for Verità Telecommunications Corporation. Reed's early career included roles as a shipping specialist and finance accounting intern at Tribar Technologies Inc., as well as labor positions at Skyzone Guadalajara and Huron Engineering and Surveying, Inc. Educational qualifications comprise a degree from the University of Michigan-Flint, complemented by training at Northwest Lineman College. Reed completed high school at Fowlerville High School.

Wolverine Power Cooperative
Wolverine Power Cooperative is a not-for-profit, member-owned and -governed generation and transmission electric cooperative, whose mission is to provide affordable, reliable power supply to its seven members. Wolverine employs 170 employees at 14 locations throughout Michigan, including more than 90 located within its brand-new Cadillac headquarters. Wolverine traces its roots to 1948, and remains committed to the mission on which it was founded. Today, Wolverine serves seven members, including 268,000 member-consumers; owns and operates seven natural gas plants, 1,600 miles of transmission lines, and nearly 200 stations and substations throughout Michigan’s Lower Peninsula.
