Jeffrey Hay

Jeffrey Hay is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and leadership roles within prominent law firms. Since January 2016, Jeffrey has held the title of Retired while previously serving as the Corporate & Securities Practice Group Leader, Global Business Group Leader, and a member of the Global Board at Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP. Additionally, Jeffrey is the Charlotte Office Managing Partner and Global Business Group Leader at Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, LLP, a position held since January 2019, following a tenure as Charlotte Office Managing Partner and Partner at the same firm from May 2005 to November 2017. Prior experience includes roles as Partner at Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP and McGuireWoods, as well as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at North Atlantic Trading Company, Inc. Jeffrey co-founded Fennebresque, Clark, Swindell & Hay and is an accomplished alumnus of the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law, earning a Juris Doctor magna cum laude, and Erskine College, where a BA in History was earned summa cum laude.
