Vikas Gupta

Vikas Gupta is the current chairperson of the board at Wonder Workshop. Vikas was previously the head of consumer payments at Google from August 2010 to January 2012. Prior to that, they were the founder and CEO of Social Gold from March 2006 to October 2010, which was eventually acquired by Google.

At Social Gold, Vikas led the company through several product iterations and two rounds of venture funding before it was acquired by Google. Vikas also spent time on all fronts including sales, marketing, and engineering, with a particular focus on product development. Some of their proudest achievements include hiring some of the best talent and creating innovative products in a competitive space.

Vikas Gupta studied computer science and engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Vikas then pursued a master's degree in computer science at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
