Jim Mikael Carpio

Jim Mikael Carpio is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and system design. Currently serving as a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Wonders since March 2022, Jim previously contributed to Manulife as a Software Engineer focusing on the e-POS project, where microservices were redesigned using technologies such as Springboot and MongoDB. Prior to that, Jim was a Java Software Engineer at ING, where a loan collections system was developed, and worked at PCCW Solutions Limited on support projects for the TAP N' GO initiative. Jim's expertise in orchestrated microservices was further enhanced during time at goFluent Philippines. Jim's professional journey began as a Java Trainee at Exist Software Labs, following an internship as a Game Programmer at Synergy88 Studios. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Cosmopoint International Institute of Technology.
