Marla Baker

Marla Baker currently serves as the Community Outreach Manager for WoodmenLife in the Commonwealth of Virginia since 2014, focusing on building community partnerships and overseeing the success of 41 non-profit WoodmenLife Chapters and two retreat destinations. Previously, Marla held the position of Community Outreach Manager at Blue Ridge Mountains Council from April 2008 to July 2014, managing media relations and publicity campaigns across a vast service area in Virginia. Additional experience includes serving as Community Relations Director for Goodwill Industries, where Marla developed marketing plans and promotional materials, and roles at Hollins University and American Graphics as Co-Owner and Art Director. Marla holds a B.A. in Business from Hollins University and studied Commercial Art at Virginia Western Community College.
