Daniel Miller has a strong background in finance and auditing. Daniel started their career as a Staff Auditor at EY, where they audited SEC filings for a large public REIT and a Fortune 500 internet service provider. Daniel also participated in re-audits for a regional banking client. Daniel then advanced to the role of Audit Manager, where they managed audit and review engagements, prepared comprehensive audit approaches, and coordinated with overseas offices to meet reporting requirements.
In 2008, Daniel joined The Hampshire Companies as a Controller. In this role, they managed the day-to-day accounting and cash flow forecasting for three Institutional Real Estate Funds with a market cap totaling $1.1 billion. Daniel oversaw a team of three assistant fund controllers and nine accountants and analysts, and led the annual audit process for several separate audit reports.
Daniel is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Woodmont Properties.
Daniel Miller attended the University of Maryland from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
