Russell Spradling has a diverse and extensive work experience in the energy sector. Russell is currently employed at Woodside Energy as the New Energy Head of Systems Integration and Operations. Prior to this, they worked at BHP for several years, where they held various roles such as Offshore Facilities Engineering Manager & Technical Assurance and Staff Process Engineer - Gulf of Mexico Production Unit. Russell also gained experience at ExxonMobil as a New Operations Advisor, at AMEC Paragon as a Lead Upstream Process Engineer, at Kerr Mcgee Ecuador as a Lead Process/Facilities Engineer, at Paragon Engineering Services as an Upstream Process Engineer, and at PCI Engineers as a Process Engineer. Throughout their career, they have been involved in a range of projects, including offshore facilities, oil processing facilities, and refinery projects. Russell has demonstrated expertise in process engineering, flow assurance, process safety, asset integrity, and equipment design.
Russell Spradling graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. In 2023, they obtained a certification in the Learn Python 3 Course from Codecademy.
