Dawn Edwins is an experienced operations manager in the health care services sector, currently overseeing Pharmacy and Optical apprenticeships at Woodspeen Training since September 2022. With a diverse background that includes roles such as Pharmacy Operations Manager and Pharmacy Skills Tutor, Dawn has demonstrated expertise in managing operations, recruiting and training educational staff, and supporting apprentices in their educational journeys. Previous positions include Pharmacy Assessor at Capital City College Training, Consultation Pharmacy Technician at Barts Health NHS Trust, and various teaching and assessment roles at multiple colleges. Early career experience highlights include managing pharmacy distribution and logistics at University College London and Whittington Health, along with technical responsibilities at Intratec.

Woodspeen Training
We set up as the Woodspeen group in 2007 with the clear aim of creating a UK vocational training business to address the skills challenge within the UK. We provide a wide range of apprenticeships, skills and vocational programmes, both Government sponsored and privately funded. We have grown organically and through a number of successful, long established businesses, all of which share in the group’s ethos. Our local brands include A&R Training Services, S&S Training Services, BDTS and Christopher Paul. In fact, many of our brands have been established for well over 20 years. We have an increasing number of permanent training centres across the United Kingdom. Our centres include Huddersfield, Bradford and Stockport Our range of Apprenticeships is extensive and includes Health & Social Care, Business and Administration, Customer Service, Team Leading, Management IT, Childcare, Hairdressing & Barbering, Pharmacy and Optical Retail. We have delivered most of these programmes over many years giving us depth and breadth of expertise. We also have expertise in classroom based accredited training in short courses such as Childrens Mental Health, Mental Health First Aid and LGBT Inclusion to name a few aswell as supporting people with English and Maths through Functional Skills.
