Nicolien Booysen has over two decades of experience in analytics and photography, currently serving as the eCommerce Analytics Manager at Woolworths since October 2003. In this role, Nicolien manages analyses for the Woolworths e-commerce site, leveraging tools such as data warehouses, Google Analytics, and ORM analysis. Previous positions at Woolworths include Web Analytics Manager, BI Manager for the Foods Business Unit, and Business Analyst, with a focus on data analysis, trend analysis, and the development of automated business information solutions. Prior to Woolworths, Nicolien worked as a Software Engineer at Blue Star Consultants, specializing in warehouse management and planning systems, and held similar roles in various companies in Belgium and the Netherlands. Additionally, Nicolien operated a photography business from 2004 to 2021, focusing on storytelling through wedding and family portraits. Educational qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Life Science from the University of Pretoria and an SMDP from Stellenbosch Business School.
