James Guaragna

James Guaragna is an experienced educational professional currently serving as the Associate Director of Outreach Programs at Worcester Polytechnic Institute since June 2022. In this role, James leads the Outreach Team, overseeing K-12 academic programming and managing a cohort of 45 undergraduate students within the Engineering Ambassador program, which hosts over 80 events annually for more than 4,000 K-12 students interested in STEM. Prior to this position, James held various roles at Regis College, including Director of New Student Programs & Engagement and Director of Orientation & Communication Management, where responsibilities ranged from coordinating new student orientations to managing social media for the Office of Student Affairs. Earlier, James served as a Student Advisor at Dynamy Internship Year, facilitating student internships and mentoring students in career decisions. James holds a Master's degree in Organizational and Professional Communication and a Bachelor's degree in Communication with a minor in Film Studies, both from Regis College.
