Terry Lopaka Adams

Terry Lopaka Adams currently serves as the Director of the Office of Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, overseeing the commercialization of intellectual property and fostering innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives. As the founder of Lopaka Consulting LLC, Terry provides technology and operational management consulting services, while also owning Lopaka Home Rentals LLC, a successful vacation rental business. Previously, Terry held various leadership roles in technology transfer and intellectual property management at Howard University and Nestlé, where responsibilities included global technology scouting and the management of intellectual asset initiatives. Terry's extensive experience also includes significant positions at Kimberly-Clark and Procter & Gamble, focused on research and development in various capacities. Terry holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Chemical Engineering from Howard University, further complemented by a strong foundational education in chemistry.
