Jacqueline Connaughton has held various roles in the IT industry since 2015. Jacqueline began their career as a PhD Student at the Macfarlane Burnet Institute for Medical Research and Public Health (Burnet Institute) in 2015. In 2016, they joined M&T Resources as an Account Manager, where they worked for two years. In 2018, they joined Greyscan as a Manager of Logistics & Distribution Support and a Project Manager. That same year, they also joined Vic ICT For Women as an Associate Board Member and Mentor for the MentorJacqueline program. In 2017, they volunteered as a School Liaison Team 2IC for the Go Girl, Go for IT program. Finally, in 2021 they joined WORK180 as a DEI Account Manager.
Jacqueline Connaughton obtained their Bachelor of Biological Science Honours from La Trobe University between 2010 and 2014, majoring in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology. Jacqueline then obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from RMIT University between 2015 and 2019, majoring in Virology. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Biological Science (Hons) certification.
