Sophie Connelly has worked in a variety of marketing roles since 2015. Sophie began their career as a Marketing Intern at Opportunity Marketing, where they developed their copywriting skills and created a portfolio of blog pieces. In 2015, they moved to Lights4fun as a Marketing Content Executive, where they were responsible for the management of the company's social media sites and developing web copy. From 2016-2018, they worked at 100% Effective Ltd as an Assistant Marketing Manager and Copywriter/Content Marketer. In 2018, they joined TrustedHousesitters as a Campaign Manager and Copywriter. Since 2020, they have been working at WORK180 as a Senior Acquisition & Engagement Manager, Brand Marketing Team Lead, and Brand and Content Manager.

Sophie Connelly attended Newcastle University from 2011 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature. Prior to that, they attended Scarborough College from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate Diploma and GCSEs. In addition, they have obtained certifications from The Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing (IDM) in Campaign Planning in December 2019, and from 100% Effective Ltd in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt in February 2016.
