Balaji Maddali

Balaji Maddali is a seasoned application security professional with extensive experience in various engineering roles. Currently serving as a Principal Application Security Engineer at Workday since October 2023, Balaji previously held the same title at The RealReal from November 2021 to March 2023. Prior to that, Balaji worked as a Principal DevSecOps Engineer at Restoration Hardware from January 2019 to November 2021 and as a Senior DevSecOps Engineer at Apple from May 2018 to January 2019. Balaji's expertise also includes a role as DevSecOps Solutions Architect at Kaiser Permanente and Senior Software Engineer - DevOps at Pacific Gas & Electric from March 2011 to April 2017. Earlier in the career, Balaji served as a Lead Consultant/Architect at Verizon Wireless, and held the position of Principal Software Engineer at RPM. Education includes a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Dayton and a degree in Computer Science from Chaitanya Bharathi Institute Of Technology.
