Gene Bordegaray is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in branding and design, currently serving as Senior Vice President, Chief Creative & Brand Officer at Workday since June 2012. Prior roles at Workday include Senior Vice President, Chief Creative & Brand Officer, and Vice President and Chief Creative Director for Global Brand & Advertising. Gene's career also encompasses senior creative positions at VMware, C3 Carbon, and Salesforce.com, where responsibilities included leading corporate design and creative strategies for major events like DreamForce and high-impact advertising campaigns. Gene began as Senior Art Director at Siebel Systems, obtaining numerous accolades such as Employee of the Year and Chairman's Circle Honor. Gene's early experience as a designer at CKS/MarchFirst and Greenpoint Bank laid the foundational creative skills. Gene holds a BFA in Information Design & Public Administration from San Diego State University.
