Mariana Osorio Revilla has extensive experience in customs and project management, currently serving as Project Assistant for the ABF-WCO Supply Chain Integrity Project, A-CIP Programme, and Asia-Pacific Plastic Waste Project at the World Customs Organization since September 2021. Prior to this role, Mariana held the position of Department Manager for WCO Affairs at the General Administration for Customs in Mexico from January 2021 to September 2021, and served as Head of Department for International Customs Affairs and Liaison for International Customs Affairs from March 2016 to January 2021. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Enseñanza del Inglés from Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos (2015), and a Bachelor's degree in Ciencias Políticas y Administración Pública from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (2018 - 2021).

World Customs Organization
The World Customs Organization (WCO) is the only intergovernmental organisation exclusively focused on Customs matters. With its worldwide membership, the WCO is now recognised as the voice of the global Customs community. It is particularly noted for its work in areas covering the development of global standards, the simplification and harmonisation of Customs procedures, trade supply chain security, the facilitation of international trade, the enhancement of Customs enforcement and compliance activities, anti-counterfeiting and piracy initiatives, public-private partnerships, integrity promotion, and sustainable global Customs capacity building programmes. The WCO also maintains the international Harmonized System goods nomenclature, and administers the technical aspects of the WTO Agreements on Customs Valuation and Rules of Origin.
