Jim Landale has extensive work experience in international organizations, including the World Economic Forum, United Nations, International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), and UN missions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the World Economic Forum, Jim held various roles, including Director of Content and Partnerships in the Strategic Intelligence division and Director of Knowledge Content in the Knowledge Networks and Analysis division. Jim was also an Associate Director in the Geopolitical Affairs and Global Agenda Councils departments.
Before joining the World Economic Forum, Jim worked at the United Nations as Chief of Section and Public Information Officer in the Strategic Communications Division. Jim also served as a Spokesperson and Head of Press Office for the ICTY.
Jim's earlier roles included being a Special Adviser and Spokesperson/Press and Information Officer for the UN Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a Spokesperson/Press and Information Officer for UNPROFOR, and a Press and Information Officer for the UN Protection Forces.
Throughout their career, Jim has gained expertise in strategic communications, knowledge content, geopolitical affairs, and press relations.
Jim Landale completed their Master of Science in Strategic Communications from Columbia University between 2007 and 2009. This program focused on strategic communications, positioning, branding, digital communications, research/analysis, and measurement.
