Sonya Nelson

Sonya Nelson is an experienced healthcare professional with a robust background as a Clinical Pharmacist and Financial Professional. Currently, Sonya serves as a Clinical Pharmacist I and Lead IV Room Pharmacist at Emory University Hospital since October 2012. Prior to this role, Sonya worked as an Oncology Pharmacist at Atlanta Cancer Care from March 2018 to January 2025, and held various positions at Walmart and CVS Pharmacy, including Pharmacy Manager and PRN Pharmacist. Sonya also has experience in financial services as a Financial Professional with World Financial Group since December 2024. Sonya holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School.
