Dr. Ahmad Talete

Dr. Ahmad TALETE serves as the Head of Finance Transformation Field Support Unit at the World Food Programme since March 2014, with extensive experience in financial management and transformation support. Prior to this role, Dr. TALETE held various finance positions, including Head of Finance Unit and Finance Officer, where responsibilities included establishing finance units, ensuring compliance with financial policies, providing strategic financial advice, and facilitating efficient resource utilization. With a solid foundation in accountancy, Dr. TALETE has also worked as a Chartered Accountant, Accounting Manager, and held key financial roles across multiple organizations. Dr. TALETE holds a PhD in Finance and Financial Management Services, as well as an MBA in Financial Markets from The Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences, complemented by further qualifications in accounting and finance from Damascus University.
