Muzafar Kaemdin

Muzafar Kaemdin serves as the Head of Strategic Planning, Monitoring, Learning, and Evaluation (PMLE) at the World Food Programme since October 2022, overseeing a diverse team responsible for strategic initiatives in WFP Somalia. With prior experience as the Regional Head of Monitoring and Results Measurement at Gatsby Africa and as Technical Director and Programme Development Lead for the High-Impact Development Facility in Tanzania, Muzafar has a strong background in monitoring, evaluation, and program development. Additional roles include directing Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning at Catholic Relief Services and managing programs at AMREF and the International Rescue Committee. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Economics and Finance for Development from the University of Bradford, an MBA from the Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Statistics from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
