Joy Gai is a highly experienced professional in the fields of sustainability and building science, currently serving as the Global Strategic Partnerships Lead and Head of Asia Pacific at the World Green Building Council since March 2021. As the founder of Joy of Sustainability, an innovative platform promoting self-awareness and peak performance through coaching, Joy also holds various academic roles, including Adjunct Lecturer at BCA Academy and Associate Faculty at the Singapore University of Social Sciences. Additionally, Joy contributes as a Faculty member at Coach Masters Academy Global and a Premium Fellow Coach at BetterUp. With a robust engineering background, Joy previously held positions such as Principal Engineer at Surbana Jurong Private Limited, where notable achievements included leading projects that earned LEED Gold and Silver certifications. Joy's academic credentials include a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Building Science from Tsinghua University and the National University of Singapore, respectively.
