Alex Aller has extensive work experience in finance, specifically in leadership roles. From 2006 to present, Alex has been the Vice President of Finance (Marine) and Global Lead Supply Relationship Management at World Fuel Services. In this position, Alex is responsible for overseeing all aspects of finance within the Marine segment, managing a budget of over $5 billion in annual sales worldwide. Alex also plays a key role in budget development, forecasting, quarterly earnings releases, and technology strategy. Prior to this, Alex worked at Sony Corporation of America from 2002 to 2006 as the Manager of Finance, where they provided FX support to Latin American subsidiaries. During this time, Alex built strong relationships in the Latin American market and implemented successful FX hedging strategies.
Alex Aller holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Furthermore, Alex obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Miami Herbert Business School. In 2015, Alex also completed a Leading Strategic Growth Executive Education Program with Columbia Business School and Execonline, Inc.
