Beryl Ajwang

Research Associate, Energy Access Explorer, WRI Africa at World Resources Institute

Beryl is a Research Analyst within the WRI Africa Energy Access Explorer. In this role, Beryl supports research on energy financing and access in the region, implementation of the Energy for Development (E4D) Program as well as communication and fundraising.

Prior to joining WRI, Beryl worked as a senior manager at EED Advisory, where she delivered on projects spanning energy access and policy, climate change, renewable energy and natural resource management. She has also worked with the with The Forest Dialogue, a US based organization that uses multi-stakeholder engagements as a channel for environmental conservation. While there, she was involved in reporting for the Land Use Dialogues in Tanzania and in facilitating stakeholder discussions.

Beryl holds a master’s degree in Environmental Management from Yale University.
