Khabir Mirzakhail

Khabir Mirzakhail is a seasoned professional in planning, monitoring, evaluation, and learning, currently serving as the Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager at the World Resources Institute since November 2021, where notable achievements include designing a foundational PMEL 101 online training program. Prior experience includes a role as Development Program Specialist (Team Lead) at USAID from October 2016 to July 2021, leading a team providing technical support for democracy and governance projects in Afghanistan. Khabir also held key monitoring and evaluation positions with The Asia Foundation, Civilian Technical Assistance Program, Search for Common Ground, and various projects under The World Bank. Educational qualifications comprise a Master's in Public Administration from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a BA (Honors) in Political Science from Aligarh Muslim University.
