Alex Laidlaw has a diverse work experience in the travel industry. Alex currently serves as the Technical Product Director at World Travel Protection, where they are responsible for managing the Travel Risk Management Solution and other key vendors. Alex also holds the role of Product Manager / Customer Success Manager - Digital Solutions.
Before this, Alex worked at Flight Centre Travel Group as the Regional Product Manager - Customer Applications (AU/NZ) for Flight Centre Corporate. Prior to that, they had significant roles at Campus Travel Australia, where they served as the Technology & Implementation Leader and later as the Strategic Account Management Leader for Australia.
Alex began their career at Toga Hospitality as the Corporate Relationship Manager - QLD before joining Corporate Travel Management as the Client Value Manager / Account manager. Alex started their travel industry journey as a Travel Consultant at Flight Centre.
Alex Laidlaw attended TAFE NSW from 1993 to 1995, where they studied Fine Arts with a major in Photography. They also obtained a certification in the LEAD Program in 2023 from Zurich Insurance.
